Board ChairmanAs Board Chairman for Teen Esteem, Chris's ability to stay true to our mission, offer decisive direction for growth, and navigate challenges is a testament to his decades of experience as both an advisor for mergers and acquisitions and chief financial officer. He assures our financial integrity by providing oversight into TE budgets and stewardship of donations. A philanthropist to the core, he devotes his time to a multitude of organizations including the National MS Society, Blue Oaks Church and previously helping rescue victims of sex trafficking.

Board MemberAngie's family started Diablo Hills Country School in 1981. As the owner and Program Director of local preschools, she's an expert in educating and socializing young children between 18 months and 5 years old. Her passion and expertise in childhood development is a vital part of how Teen Esteem approaches curriculum development; listening to Angie's input on how to best support the mental, social and physical well-being of youth and their families.

Board TreasurerBob's passion for youth wellbeing fills many of the working hours he left behind when retiring as a Certified Financial Planner. His background as a Scout leader, Little League coach, elementary reading tutor in Oakland and program leader for Effective Fathering classes at local high schools made him a perfect fit for the work Teen Esteem does in Tri-Valley classrooms. He also is a passionate community speaker helping to guide parents and caregivers in navigating raising children in the digital age.

Board MemberKathleen brings decades of experience as a senior executive in strategy and investments that she uses for good not only serving on the Board of Directors at Teen Esteem, but also as the founder of Aspire Ten25 helping families build enduring legacies. As a mom to four boys, she is passionate about equipping students and parents to make good life decisions.

Pamela Lewis
Board Member+Pamela Lewis
Board MemberPamela has been a school psychologist for 15 years; she listens daily to children as they share their struggles from both school and home. She is a critical piece of the support students need to help overcome obstacles like anxiety, peer conflicts, depression and low self-esteem. Her experience helps shape how Teen Esteem approaches curriculum development to support schools in meeting the social and emotional needs of students. Pamela also holds a law degree from Boston College.

Board MemberAllan's distinguished career in law enforcement placed him on the frontlines with at-risk youth in our community. As the former Chief of Police for the Town of Danville and a graduate of the FBI National Academy, he brings a calming and grounding voice in guiding Teen Esteem. He's a devoted dad who has logged innumerable hours supporting and coaching baseball, basketball, football and cross country teams for his kids. His experience as a parent is evident in the empathy and concern he pours into helping TE protect and guide the next generation.

Board MemberJacquelyn joined Teen Esteem's Board of Directors and dove right in coming face-to-face with students in the classroom as a TE speaker. Deeply concerned by the mental health crisis affecting our youth, she has dedicated herself to giving students the hope, validation, support and relief they desperately need. Her background as a marketing executive helps us frame outreach in the Tri-Valley and bring awareness to parents, caregivers and the community about the challenges facing kids and teens today.
