  • Among social media users, 88% of teens have seen someone be mean or cruel to another person on a social media site.

  • 86.8% of tweens and 89.6% of teens expressed or experienced violent subject matter/thoughts.

  • Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for youth aged 10-24.
  • 13.01% of youth (age 12-17) report suffering from at least one major depressive episode (MDE) in the past year.
  • 55.1% of tweens and 67.1% of teens engaged in conversations about depression.

  • Pornography searches increase by 4,700%  when children are out of school.
